Environmental protection is a primary corporate goal for Lufthansa CityLine.

In 2000, Lufthansa CityLine became the first airline in the world to establish a professional environmental management system and have it independently certified in accordance with the strict EMAS requirements of the European Union. In addition to its EMAS validation, Lufthansa CityLine is now also regularly certified according to the international environmental standard ISO 14001. Reducing consumption, minimizing emissions, lowering the amount of waste and finding environmentally friendly solutions - all of this has been part of our daily business ever since.
